Here’s My Story
I am a photographer of love. Serving Florida, Chicago & Beyond. Balancing the beach life with the city hustle.
I began my journey toward discovering my passion for photography so many years ago. It began in a small Iowa town in a high school dark room, which lead me to downtown Chicago where I graduated with a BFA in Photography from the renowned art school, Columbia College, in 2011. I dove head first into all kinds of photo related work from events, festivals, portraits, headshots, branding, lifestyle, and of course weddings. I rarely said no to a photography opportunity and have a broad range of skills because of this. This launched me all across the country and into countless waves of connections and friendships I have made— and continue to make— to this day.
These days, when I’m not loving on my couples on the weekends, I’m spending time with my precious family; with my handsome musician hubby (Phillip) and my sweet and sassy little girl (Adelaide). I absolutely love being a mama and wifey, my family means EVERYTHING to me and is a huge part of my inspiration. Life is ever growing, ever evolving, and I know. this. I hold the meaning of love & family dear to my heart, which directly translates into my work. I truly understand the importance of capturing those intimate, beautiful, milestone moments in life.
What makes me different, is the way in which I approach my work: I genuinely sees and feels YOUR story. Moments are not mere moments to me, but rather, each shot is a branch of the whole. I put my whole heart and soul into celebrating your story, and retelling it in photographs.

A beautiful beach town in Florida called St Augustine! I split my time there and in Chicago (where I lived all through of my 20s) I like to think I balance the beach life with the city hustle.
Do you travel for weddings?
YES! I absolutely love an adventure with my couples. Send me an email with your details and we can put together a custom quote for you!
Are you insured?
Absolutely! I couldn’t be without my insurance.
How many images will I receive?
A LOT! I don't have a set number of images I give to my couples, simply because I don't want to withhold any photos that I add to the gallery, but I always try to deliver 75 - 100 edited images per hour. So if you've booked me for an 8 hour wedding you can expect 600 to 800+ photos.
When will I receive our images?
Since I do all of my own editing, once I’ve shot your wedding/session, the work is only 40% over for me. That being said, my turnaround time for weddings is 8 - 10 weeks and it’s 3 - 4 weeks for sessions depending on what season I am in. I promise that the wait is worth it!
